Thanks to all who help every year to make Shopiere, Wisconsin's Turtle Fest a huge hit for the community, and surely makes my job easier as the auctioneer for the day. A very special thanks to JC & Sharon Champlin, who are the backbone of the Childrens' Auction every year.

Every child receives $500 in play money, and when their parents spend money at the festival, the children receive more play money for each dollar spent by their folks. All money made at the festival is donated to the Fire Dept., Park, and other community needs. 

It all started 3 years ago, when the Kids' Auction followed the live Auction, and half way through we knew we would run out of toys. JC, Sharon, auctioneer Bill Perkins, and fiancee Audra made sure every child left with something that day, as they handed out $1 dollar bills to the remaining children to buy something before they left the festival. 

Since then, JC & Sharon solely supply the Childrens' Auction every year.  JC is an Auction-goer and buys new toys throughout the year. JC is determined to see that the Children's Auction will never run out of toys again.
